Jan Olof William Nilsson

William Nilsson is professor in the Department of Applied Economics at the University of the Balearic Islands, UIB.

 

Qualifications: 2005 PhD in Economics, University of Umea, Sweden.

 

Research interest:

Researcher specialized in micro-econometrics, in particular nonparametric models, and labor economics, with studies on inequality of opportunities, mobility and poverty dynamics. Recent research covers water studies. He has published in several international journals such as Water Resources Research, Water, Review of Income and Wealth, Labor: Review of Labor Economics and Industrial Relations, Statistics and Probability Letters. He has participated in several competitive research projects of national scope, for example financed by the Ministry of Science and Innovation.
